Here you will find some useful information, links & resources that parents/carers can use at home, if your child is absent from school, wants to access extra work or it is a holiday period.

If you wish your child to further their knowledge within the current topic they are/would be studying, it is advised to look at your child's curriculum overview. This will tell you which areas their relevant class will/would be concentrating on over a termly period.

Little Bins for Little Hands - A subscription service, that offers indoor activities, projects and printables. There are often deals on periods of free use of the site.

BBC Bitesize - Covering numerous topics, BBC Bitesize has a great deal of information about all the topics covering in school.

Nat Geo - National Geographic for kids is an excellent resource for exploring topics from around the world. Covering everything including forces, climate change and the environment.

Exploratorium - A wide range of free activities and reading resources.

Science Bob - Loads of fun, easy to do at home experiments.

Science Prof - A professor who documents her home science lessons, observations and experiments with her own children. Some fascinating reading about nature and wildlife.

WOW Science - Games, activities, apps, videos and experiments covering a huge number of scientific topics.

BBC iPlayer Kids - The kids version of iPlayer, will give you the peace of mind that the programs are appropriate for your child. Documentaries, especially those made famous by Sir David Attenborough, are great programs to watch with your children.
